Murray River Lunch Cruise

Cruise & Dine
on the Murray

hALF-DAY SIGHTSEEING river cruise WITH lunch

Step back in time and explore Mandurah’s winding waterways and the serene Murray River on board our relaxing, 4.5-hour Murray River Lunch Cruise.

The majestic Murray is WA’s most history-rich river. It is the longest permanent river in the Jarrah Forest and one of the few major rivers in Australia that remains undammed. Lined with quaint homes, houseboats and an array of wild flora and fauna, it is one of the Shire of Murray’s most picturesque attractions.

Beautiful scenery around the estuary, river and glimpses of the canals. Lovely crew who served a hearty lunch. A really enjoyable half day out on the water. We saw dolphins too. Recommended.

Hosted by a local expert guide, travel on our spacious twin-level ‘Dancing Dolphin’ catamaran for a day-trip of delight. Sit back, relax and take in stunning scenery, cruising as far as the Murray River Bridge (Forrest Highway):

  • Start the morning cruising across the magnificent Peel Inlet, with morning tea on arrival.
  • Enjoy an antipasto charcuterie board as you continue past the world-renowned RAMSAR-listed Creery Wetlands, teeming with birdlife.
  • Learn about our region’s history and nature from your expert onboard tour guide’s live commentary.
  • Cross the Peel Estuary and be on the lookout for Mandurah’s famous Bottlenose dolphins as they surf and play in the wake of the boat.¹
  • On entering the Murray River, stop at Cooper’s Mill heritage island site for a brief, easy walking tour. This restored wind-driven mill, located on Cooleenup Island, is only accessible by boat. Explore and wander, or follow our tour guide to learn more about the Mill.²
  • Dine on a delicious 2-course buffet lunch and dessert, served by your onboard chef while cruising the charming, cottage-lined Murray River.
  • Play onboard games as you return back across the Peel Inlet.
  • Admire the Port Mandurah canals, lined with luxury homes.
  • Enjoy refreshments along the way, with a fully licensed bar available for you to purchase drinks.
  • Help yourself to complimentary tea/coffee (bring your own keep-cup).

Everything was top notch. The staff were fantastic, the food delicious, ample space on the boat to move around. We even had the dolphins swim with the boat and put on a show for us. It was lovely to get off at Cooper’s Mill and explore. Definitely recommend and would happily do the cruise again.
