We love the incredible estuary, canals and waterways of Mandurah, and we love a West Australian sunset on water even more. Mandurah is home to some of the best sunset spots in WA, and there’s no better vantage point than from the water itself. Every week during the warmer months, we present three ways to soak up Mandurah’s golden hour on the water.

Savour a 5-course seafood feast paired with Howard Park wines on our Sunset & Seafood Cruise, unwind to live acoustic music on the Sundowner Cruise, or kick off the weekend with drinks on the Friday Floating Bar Cruise. Each cruise offers stunning views and a relaxed, unforgettable atmosphere, perfect for making the most of every sunset. These cruises run from October to April, outside of our Christmas Lights cruise season in December and early January.

We have three. The Sunset and Seafood Cruise is a 2.5-hour cruise with a five-course seafood dinner, with Howard Park wines, beers and soft drinks included. The Sundowner Cruise is a relaxed 1.5-hour cruise with live acoustic music and a licensed bar. The Friday Floating Bar Cruise is a casual 45-minute loop with a licensed bar, and no booking needed.

Our sunset cruises run from October to April, taking a break during the Christmas Lights Cruise season in December and early January. The Sunset and Seafood Cruise sails on Friday and Saturday evenings, the Sundowner Cruise on Saturday evenings, and the Floating Bar Cruise on Friday evenings once the Christmas Lights season ends in January.

Yes for the Sunset and Seafood Cruise and the Sundowner Cruise, and seats are limited, so we recommend booking early. The Floating Bar Cruise doesn’t take bookings. Boarding is first come, first served, so we suggest arriving 30 minutes before your preferred departure.

A 2.5-hour cruise with a five-course menu of fresh WA seafood designed by Chef Tony Howell and prepared on board by your private chef. Howard Park wines, beers and soft drinks are included throughout. It’s an 18+ cruise for just 20 guests.

A 1.5-hour scenic cruise through Mandurah’s canals and estuary, with live acoustic music from talented local musicians. Drinks are available from our licensed bar, and you can pre-book a cheeseboard or Cicerello’s fish and chips to enjoy on board.

$15 per person for each 45-minute loop. Drinks are available to buy from our fully licensed bar.

It changes through the season, from around 7.30pm in peak summer to about 6pm in the shoulder months. Our departure times move with it, so you’re on the water as the sun sets. The booking calendar shows the times for each date.

Quite possibly. These aren’t dolphin cruises, and dolphins are harder to spot in low light, but we often see them. Mandurah’s dolphins are wild, so we can’t guarantee a sighting.

The Sundowner Cruise welcomes children, who must stay within one metre of an accompanying adult. The Sunset and Seafood Cruise and the Floating Bar Cruise are 18+ only, and ID is checked on boarding.

The Sunset and Seafood Cruise departs from Stingray Point Jetty, 14 Vivaldi Drive. The Sundowner and Floating Bar Cruises depart from the Mandurah Cruises Jetty in Mandjar Square, near the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
